Bio

Back in 2004 three Extreme Metal fans decided they wanted to lay an imprint on the world. Noticing recent world events, and with a heavy interest in apocalyptic legends and lore, they decided to create a band that focuses it's energy on the fear and anticipation of this world's end. Crushing every venue the band has ever played, with their apocalyptic sound and performance, the band realized that they had something fresh, new, yet brutal and destructive. At that time, known as "Withering Youth", the band dubbed their sound Apocalyptic Metal. The 3 piece continued to spread their Apocalyptic Metal around Wisconsin and even inspired some local Madison bands. In 2009 Withering Youth underwent some even more apocalyptic changes to their sound and required a new lineup. Still performing as a 3-piece but with additional soundscapes Withering Youth became Tragic Death. Check out this band's music and get a chance to see their brutal, energetic live shows, where this band truly shines!

Bio

Rictus Grin Translated means the grotesquely askew smile on the face of a corpse. In this spirit of arcane morbidity the story begins. Through the chaos of underground warehouse parties to the staggering heights of European tours and mainstage mayhem Rictus Grin remains a true and grim force. Ascending from the tombs of the underground metal scene their steadfast focus lies in not only showcasing their own dark creations, but also unearthing other local talent and unifying the scene one show at a time.

Rictus Grin continues to easily cross the lines between unforgettable underground parties and rabidly intense shows. Now that their reputation has spread, the metal community expects from Rictus Grin an unconventionally gripping and unique performance and a stage show that evokes pits, body passing, and band-encouraged prop demolition. Remembering their goals to reach beyond themselves, Rictus Grin organizes an annual Doomsday metal festival to showcase the talents of underground bands from all over the US, a festival that has occurred annually in the dead of winter for 10 years. Also always immersed in the scene, Rictus Grin vigilantly books WI show dates for touring acts from all over the world.

Bio

Beyond the Ocean Floor brings together a diverse collection of music types. The bringing together of hardcore, pop, house music and metal and making them into one comes from having 7 members each having different music backgrounds. Originally started in late 2009 as "ROAR! I'm A Lion" they went through several member changes before switching names. Beyond the Ocean Floor brings something you don't see everyday in music with their high energy stage performances and are more than your average breakdown/ synth band. We are just 7 guys doing what we love by making music and bringing it to who ever cares to take a listen. We hope you enjoy what we bring to the table.

Hero of a Hundred Fights

Members Pat Fuller - guitar/vocals Shane Holchester - drums Chris Grove - bass/vocals William Zientara - vocals Location: Milwaukee Bio Hero of a Hundred Fights is a long-defunct band but highly influential Milwaukee band. They emerged from the ashes of Brass Knuckles for Tough Guys, Tintoretto and Managra. Like those three bands, Hero of a Hundred Fights played a complex and ambitious style of hardcore, combining math rock influences with the lurching and propulsive rock assault of bands like Drive Like Jehu and Bitch Magnet. In 2000 William Zientara joined the band contributing vocals to their final EP The Remote, the Cold, recorded at Electrical Audio Recording by Steve Albini. With this release the band further refined their sound creating four powerful and dynamic songs combining fierce layered vocals, lurching time changes, snaking guitar lines and a pounding rhythm section. Disbanding late in 2001 members went on to join Haymarket Riot, Call Me Lightning, Murder in the Red Barn and Temper Temper. Releases Hero of a Hundred Fights CD Hero of a Hundred Fights (2000) 1.
