Sad thing is, if you actually take the time to READ about Satanism and it’s tenets and teachings, it’s really not all that different from the way most people lead their lives. It’s mostly about living selfishly and for one’s own pleasure, it worships strength, power, and money, not some goat headed demon. And no, there is no animal sacrifice or baby sacrifice.

I am sorry that this is happening to your family. GS and BS of America while doing some good in the community is a pretty corrupt organization. I don’t believe that there is anything on this site that would make you an unfit leader. However, GS and the BS are actually a Mormon founded organization. The don’t allow members that are non-christain nor gay. There have been several troop members and leaders kicked out for just being gay. It really is a sad thing to hate so blindly. Penn and Teller did an interesting episode of Bullshit about the GS and BS that really sums it all up. Good luck in your fight.

A true crazy-in-the-eyes fundamentalist thinks damned near anything is satanic. I grew up in a fundamentalist southern baptist environment and literally the entire site could easily be classified as “satanic” and “evil” simply because it isn’t Veggie Tales fanfic. I completely see how this lunatic came to her conclusion. With that said, I also completely fail to see why any person or organization would value her fanatical opinions.

I find great irony in all of this. The woman who asked Stacy to step down actually believes that what she is doing is right, and in doing so, is robbing the girl scout troop of a leader whose dedication and love has no doubt benefitted them in countless ways. In her silly paranoia, she is harming the troop rather than helping it. How sad that people like this exist and are allowed to exert power over others.
